Te Ara Minhinnick curated a show for the Aotearoa Art Fair, a show made up of indigenous artists and adornments they created, this was part of her invite and why my answer was obviously yes.
“Toi that isn’t cold or stagnant but carried and warmed by us. Generational whakakai, passed down or up, toi that we wear to kaupapa and hīkoi to protect us and amplify who we are. Seeing all the aunties at Matatini adorned in their taonga has only strengthened this whakaaro for me, lol.”

I sent part of my 1835 series (read more about this kaupapa here) and a sneak peek for one of my shows later in the year an engraved recycled mirror (You will have to wait to hear more about hat in September).
